The description is incorrect.  Looking at the photos it is a coupe with t-tops.  Maybe he thinks for $49,500 no one would notice it was not a convertible. Huh

Judging by his feedback he's brand new to ebay. Maybe that's how much he payed for the car and how much he owes the bank. Either way he'll never recoup that amount and if he does Shocked, I better make sure my car is covered for that amount by the insurance company.  Bob

1977 values?? like anything it is subjective, and in my opinion the value of any car is what someone is willing to pay for it, period! 50K is out of line unless it was a factory original with 0 miles on it then, maybe. but, even a few of those low mileage examples i have seen were only fetching mid 30's. hey, Bob Beck, what would be your asking price for your MSO never titled 1977??? He would be the man to ask to establish a true market value!!

I would also like to hear what Bob would ask for MSO 1977.
Then we could truly see how much out of line this guy is.

According to "Covette Magazine" latest edition, the 77 Vette in show condition with the L-82 engine is worth $21,500.

Well this car is definitely not show condition.  Looking at the the photos I also do not see the L82 emblem on the hood.  So I'm guessing it is not a "show condition L82" and not worth $49,500. Grin Wink
